It is yummy, full of fats that are critical for brain development and important for generating myelin in the brain. See bottom of post for sources. Sprouting releases key nutrients that are otherwise unavailable in unsprouted rice)-Homemade chicken broth to cook rice-Good quality cheese-½ cup sweet peas/diced vegetables-Grass-fed/pastured butter or ghee (High in vitamin k2 and CLA)-Salt Directions:Heat butter/ghee. And the onion and salt, and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft, 3 to 5 minutes.Add the sweet potatoes, stirring occasionally, for 1 minute.Add the brown rice and stock and cook until rice is soft and sweet potato is mushy. Takes about 15-30 minutes depending on whether you use regular or sprouted riceAdd peas 5 minutes before rice is cooked.Once rice is cooked, stir in the cheese.Voila! The sweet potato adds a delicious sweetness to this dish, my 18 month old loves it!
